• Email address — when you subscribe to our list (“the Ledger”) for news of new forms, sitting dates, and word from the workroom.
• Phone number — when you request a sitting’s location by text, or ask to be texted about a particular form (when it comes to the floor, is available, sells, or returns to the workroom).
• Contact details you send us — such as your name, email, and message when you inquire about a piece by emailing us.
• Basic technical data — standard server and security logs (such as IP address and browser type) collected automatically by our hosting provider. Our site uses only the cookies essential to operate; we do not run advertising trackers.

• To send the email updates you subscribed to.
• To text you the sitting address you requested, or the form notices you asked for.
• To respond to your inquiries.
• To operate, secure, and improve the site.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for third-party advertising. Mobile opt-in information and consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

• Email: every email includes an unsubscribe link — one click and we stop, promptly.
• Text messages: we only text you about what you asked for — a specific sitting or a specific form. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply.

We use a small set of trusted providers to deliver these services. They process your information only on our behalf and only as needed:

• Flodesk — email list management and delivery.
• Twilio — text messaging (sitting addresses and form notices).
• Resend — transactional and inquiry email.
• Vercel — website hosting.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as the law requires, and we take reasonable measures to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or limit our use of your personal information, and to opt out of marketing. To make a request, email us at hello@heizerandcompany.com. We will respond as required by applicable law.

Our site and communications are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
